Tim’s weeknotes

For the last six months I’ve been writing weeknotes about my work on Hanami and its ecosystem. I figured it’s time I shared them here in the forum too!

I’ll use this topic to link to each weeknotes as I publish them. Feel free to subscribe to follow along.

Here’s a special Taiwan Edition of my weeknotes, in which I finish my Hanami Mailer rewrite, find some neat Hanami CLI + Postgres + Docker improvements, eat tasty food and start on some “holiday programming.”

A short second weeknotes from Taiwan.

Weeknotes, in which I returned from holidays and found myself on a roll.

Full JRuby support for Dry! Publishing to gem.coop namespaces! Automated npm publishing! Killing some gems, and renaming others! Plus some heartwarming router discussions, and a site launch coming real soon.

Weeknotes: a slew of really meaningful improvements from our team, some big assets fixes, and getting back onto finishing our i18n support.

Weeknotes, including a nice perf enhancement for Dry Configurable, named steps in Dry Operation, a specification for Hanami asset bundlers, improvements across several of our gems, and getting back onto finishing Hanami’s built-in i18n support.

Weeknotes, in which I finish the second 80% of Hanami’s i18n support, and begin to see the finish line for our upcoming release!

Weeknotes: mailers receive the app integration treatment, and Hanakai receives a new sponsor! Thank you SerpApi!

In these weeknotes, I’m doing everything I can to get a Hanami release candidate ready to go. Come for the insight into open source workings, stay for the peek at our pretty new welcome screens!
