# File upload gem recommendation

Hi,

Just wondering what would you recommend to use for a file upload functionality? I used to work with [https://github.com/carrierwaveuploader/carrierwave](https://github.com/carrierwaveuploader/carrierwave) in Rails but there are a few relatively new libraries out there such as [https://github.com/janko-m/shrine](https://github.com/janko-m/shrine) or [https://github.com/refile/refile](https://github.com/refile/refile) not sure what will be a better choice in terms of a smooth Lotus integration.

Hello there

I haven’t done any file uploading code in any Lotus app, so as far as I’ve known there is no out-of-the-box supported gem for Lotus yet. But in theory, if it works with Rack, it could be adapted to support Lotus. I am looking into [`attache`](https://github.com/choonkeat/attache) gem atm, I think I could come up with a lotus integration gem soon
